Holy Cow

Holy Cow was developed as an Indian fast casual restaurant built around high-quality, from-scratch cooking delivered with speed and precision. The menu centered on thali, a traditional Indian meal composed of multiple small dishes served together on one plate, allowing for variety, balance, and efficient service. Because many components can be prepared in advance without compromising quality, the format translated naturally into a fast dining concept suited to busy urban customers. Located in Oslo’s business district, the space began as a sterile, modern commercial unit. The interior concept focused on introducing warmth, texture, and cultural depth without losing clarity or flow. Wood, steel, and leather were used to soften and structure the space, while custom artworks and a large neon installation added character and visibility. A floor-to-ceiling artwork, created from layered paint and Indian posters, became a defining visual centerpiece. The scope included full interior design and execution, branding, logo design, menu development, content creation, photography, and social media direction. The result was a cohesive fast casual concept where identity, space, and food format were tightly aligned for both operational efficiency and strong brand presence.
