Gryn

Gryn was developed as a contemporary Norwegian reinterpretation of classic oatmeal porridge, introducing both sweet and savory variations that elevated a traditional staple into a modern café concept. The name Gryn plays on its dual meaning in Norwegian, referring both to grain and to slang for money, giving the brand a subtle edge and memorability The visual identity was built around an art deco–inspired expression. The logo and custom letterforms were drawn by hand to create a distinctive typographic presence with character and confidence. The scope included branding, custom signage, neon elements, and menu consulting to ensure the product offering aligned with the concept. Content creation and photography were developed to communicate the refined yet approachable nature of the brand, resulting in a cohesive identity that felt both nostalgic and contemporary.
